An Overview of Biore Skincare Products
There are many products that have been designed to combat and treat acne, owing to the widespread prevalence of acne in the general population. Virtually everyone will have some form of facial blemishing at some point, either with acne or with milder forms of blemishes, such as blackheads. While there have been many products developed, not all have become widely popular. Biore Complexion Clearing products are examples of some acne products that have become mainstream in the market. This article will provide a brief overview of the Biore line of skincare products and will evaluate their effectiveness as acne treatments.
The Biore line of products is owned and developed by Kao Brands, which is a leader in the market for personal care products. This company was given an A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau and is highly regarded in the industry for quality. The product itself consists of four skincare products, although only three will be used during the skin cleansing process. For the first step, the user has a choice between the Warming Anti-Blackhead Cream Cleanser or the Blemish Fighting Ice Cleanser. Both of these have 2% salicylic acid as their active ingredients and are designed to either target blackheads or deal with other blemishes with a mix of pharmaceutical and herbal medications. The second step incorporates the Pore Unclogging Scrub, which also has 2% salicylic and comes in a five-ounce tube. Finally, the third step consists of the Triple Action Astringent, which further unclogs pores and makes the skin smooth and less shiny. Each product can be found in many stores nationwide and costs approximately $6.99, depending on where you buy them. Biore does not make recommendations on how often one should use these products, so the user may have to determine that themselves, based on their own needs.
This product has been given mostly good reviews, although there have been several complaints. Most users commend the product for cleaning the skin effectively, exfoliating the skin, and giving the skin a nice smell. Also, most report that the product does not have any known side effects. Other users, however, have complained that the products do not remove blackheads as promised, or do not keep acne from forming once use of the product has begun. On balance, though, more users rate this product positively than negatively. The Biore line of products are produced by a reputable company, are widely popular and used daily, and enjoy a fairly good level of approval in the market, making them worth trying by those who suffer from mild acne. Against severe acne, however, the Biore products may not be effective.
